My PhD-project is embedded in the intervention More2Sleep. This is a randomised, controlled trial, where we will consider the effects of extending sleep on body composition and learning ability in pre-pubescent, short-sleeping children with overweight. My PhD will focus on learning ability using a variety of tests and neuroimaging approaches.
My previous research has focused on the development of social cognition, particularly with a focus on synchrony in parent-child interactions in infants and young children and what differences in these may mean. This was mainly done using head-mounted eye-tracking.
